7. California wine is made in the U.S, state of California. California accounts 90 percent of entire American wine production. Production of wine in California is more than double that of Australia.

8. In 1822 first Australian wine was exported. Gregory was the first Australian winemaker to win an overseas award. In 1830 vineyards were established in the Australia. In 1833 James Bushby introduced different Australian wine varieties. By the arrival of free settlers from various parts increases the production and quality of Australian wines
